KW DDC COILOVER SUSPENSION KITS

Our KW DDC Coilover Suspension kits combine the advantages of an adaptive damping system with a stylish and sporty lowering depending on your individual needs.
The adaptive KW Coilover Suspension Kits are available as KW DDC plug&play variant for vehicles with electronically controlled shocks and KW DDC ECU variant with an optional Smartphone app control for vehicles without actively controlled shocks.
Currently the KW DDC plug&play and KW DDC ECU coilover suspension kits are available for over 300 vehicle types.

 

KW HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE SPRING SET

If your vehicle is equipped with electronically adjustable dampers and you would like to continue using these standard features in conjunction with a stepless and discreet lowering, then our height-adjustable spring sets are an interesting offer and available for a large number of vehicles.
Similar to a KW coilover suspension, our coilover springs allow you to lower the suspension directly on your standard suspension.

KW STREET COMFORT

Do you find your original or retrofitted sports suspension too uncomfortable and unharmonious for your everyday life? Our KW Street Comfort coilover suspension kits combine driving dynamics with a clear plus in driving comfort compared to conventional sports suspensions.
On request, you can adjust the handling or driving comfort individually more tightly or comfortably using the integrated rebound damping (TVR-A technology).

KW HYDRAULIC LIFT SYSTEM

We have developed the KW Hydraulic Lift System so that you can easily overcome speed bumps or steep ascents in multi-story car parks without difficulty.

At the push of a button the HLS system lifts vehicles by up to 45 millimeters and obstacles can be passed easily.

The hydraulic lift system is available for installed KW coilover suspensions, for selected original suspensions, and as a complete system including KW coilover suspension kit.

KW DLC AIR SUSPENSION

kw_dlcDoes your premium vehicle have level control in conjunction with comfortable OEM air suspension? For these vehicles we have developed the KW DLC Air Suspension with optional smartphone app, which allows you to lower your luxury vehicle continuously.

Thanks to vehicle-specific adapters, the integration of the KW DLC control module is completed within just a few working units, and with our optional DLC App you can conveniently adjust the stepless lowering directly on your smartphone using the app.

KW COILOVER SUSPENSION KIT VARIANT 1

With the KW Coilover Suspension Kit Variant 1 (V1) you can make a technically maximum possible lowering in a tested frame infinitely variable.
The KW dampers used have a vehicle-specific, permanently configured setup with a sporty, harmonious tuning so that you can experience an optimum balance between sportiness and suitability for everyday driving. Even with a full payload and maximum axle loads, the dampers operate with a sporty characteristic curve.

KW COILOVER SUSPENSION KIT VARIANT 2

The KW Coilover Suspension Kit Variant 2 (V2) offers you a technically maximum possible and individually adjustable lowering as well as the possibility to further adjust our vehicle-specific and preset sporty-harmonious damper setup.

The manual adjustment of the dampers allows you to adjust the tuning in just a few simple steps.

Thanks to the KW “TVR-A” technology, with 16 exact clicks you can influence the handling and driving comfort yourself in a targeted manner, in order to give your car a firmer or sportier driving behavior if desired.

Do you set great store by a performance-oriented driving experience in combination with a technically maximum possible and individual lowering in everyday life? Our worldwide best-selling coilover suspension kit, the KW Coilover Suspension Kit Variant 3 (V3), is the ideal suspension for you.
The dampers with their “TVR-A” and “TVC-A” technology, which can be separately adjusted in compression and rebound, allow you to further adjust the vehicle-specific preset basic damping setup to your individual driving requirements.
This makes it easy for you to directly influence the steering behavior, directional stability, tire grip and handling characteristics in a decisive way for safe controllability at the limits.
In addition, despite the maximum lowering, you benefit from a sporty and harmonious rolling comfort.

THE KW COILOVER SUSPENSION KIT VARIANT 4

With the KW Coilover Suspension Kit Variant 4 (V4), we adapted our leading racing technology for everyday use on the road and give your high-performance vehicles a clear plus in everyday suitability.
The three-way adjustable high-performance dampers allow you to independently adjust the rebound damping (KW “TVR-A” technology) as well as separately tunable low-speed and high-speed compression damping (KW “TVCLH-A” technology).
We deliver your KW Variant 4 for your sports car or high-performance vehicle with a vehicle-specific performance setting. With the adjustable dampers, you can – if desired – intuitively switch to a comfort setting with the integrated setting adjusters on Variant 4. Depending on the vehicle-specific design and axle geometry, the KW coilover version 4 has aluminum unibal support bearings.

Our KW Clubsport coilover suspension kits offer you top motorsport technology for road vehicles with sports tires for use on the racetrack and on the street. We developed our KW Clubsport coilover suspensions especially for sporty drivers like you, who regularly participate with their street cars on the racetrack in tourist rides, sports driver training courses, or other track day events and at the same time want a road legal and convenient daily driving feature with their suspension. The preset, vehicle-specific basic setup was specially designed for the Nordschleife and the use of sports tires. KW Competition Cup

The KW Competition CUP suspensions are available as TwinTube TT or SingleTube ST40P-version with 40mm upside-down cartridge and fixed configured damping setup. KW Competition CUP suspensions are the entry into motorsport. For a maximum equality between competitors, these racing suspension systems were developed and homologated in collaboration with vehicle manufacturers and Cup organizers.

KW Competition 2A

The KW Competition 2A are available as TwinTube TT2A or SingleTube ST2A 40P-version with 40mm upside-down cartridge and separate compression and rebound adjustment. They build the basis of an extensive racing suspension program for demanding mass- and customer motor sport. Available as vehicle-specific development or even as an individual customized production.

KW Competition 2A EXR

The KW Competition 2A EXR are the consequent further development of the 2-way adjustable racing dampers for the use in GT4 and TCR racing. STR2A stands for SingleTube damper technology with 2-way adjustable valve technology and separate reservoir. The damper forces are generated on the working piston and the compression valve in the expansion tank. Due to the position-independent reservoir, the gas volume can be adapted to the damper stroke and higher damping forces can be realized with a lower static gas pressure than with 1-pipe gas pressure dampers without separate pressure stage bottom valve. The KW Competition 2A EXR are also available for McPherson axles in upside-down version STR2A 40P and STR2A 45P with 40mm or 45mm plain bearings.

KW Competition 3A

KW Competition STRS3A are SingleTube dampers with reservoir, coil spring valve technology and 3-way damper force adjustment. The basic compression stage has an individually pre-configurable midspeed valve, in addition to the high speed and low speed compression adjustment, the transition point from a progressive to a digressive characteristic curve can be varied. The adjustable rebound stage can be optimally configured for the intended purpose by an extensive number of needle valves and coil springs with a linear, progressive or digressive characteristic.
The STRS3A technology convinces by a maximum reliability and low maintenance effort. For McPherson-axles with 40mm Inverted damper cartridge as STRS3A 40P plain bearing or in the unique friction-optimized linear bearing version STRS3A 40L. For the rally use with standpipe diameter 45mm and 50mm available as KW Competition STRS3A 45P or STRS3A 50P.

KW COMPETITION 3A / STS3A 40L

Our 3-way adjustable SingleTube dampers are in addition to the conventional upside-down versions also available as special linear bearing solution STS3A 40L, which is characterized by a lower friction and a low breakaway torque. As wheel-guiding McPherson struts are exposed to highest loads during cornering and braking, the advantage of KW linear bearings at increasing transverse forces (lateral forces) is up to 87% less friction compared to plain bearings.

KW Competition 4A

The new KW Competition TTRSPW4A TwinTube damper has a precise 4-way damper adjustment in low speed and high speed forces of the compression stage as well as the rebound stage with 18 clicks each. Its functional principle with solid slave piston allows an direct reaction even at the lowest strokes. The new KW valve technology with plate springs allows an individual characteristic design and covers a large force range of 1000 to 8000N. Depending on the requirements, the modular built damper can also be extended with an additional blow-off characteristic. The valve arrangement ensures a cavitation-free function at a low gas pressure. Due to its construction-independent use possibilities, the damper is suitable for any type of non-wheel-guiding axle constructions such as double wishbone or pushrod suspensions. The external reservoir is connected to the damper either directly as a piggyback or via a hose connection.
